Online dating franchise Affiliate Dating is projecting the completion of its entire UK franchise network by December 2010. The company has granted 16 franchises this year and is looking meet its annual target by recruiting eight more by this December.
“Our franchise network continues to experience monthly membership growth despite the economic downturn,” said Franchise Manager Lloyd Saunders. “This is because online dating does not have the stigma it had years ago and is easier or more convenient for people to stay at home and use an online dating website to meet new friends and partners.
“No other internet dating company can offer the unique website URLs that are assigned to the franchise owner and that are available county by county across the UK. This is why we are confident we will complete our network by the end of 2010.
“We are looking for business builders who do not want a nine-to-five job. While no previous business experience is required, marketing experience would be advantageous. Our franchise owners can choose to operate the business on a full or part-time basis and while the costs of marketing the business online and offline are met by the franchise owner, the initial training, ongoing support and advertising tools come as part of the franchise package.”(news source The FranchiseMagazine)

I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your linear perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read in the first place. I am still reflecting over the opposite points of view, but I’m tipped heavily toward yours.
